Did a bit of research over the weekend using the brilliant http://counciltracker.ie from @DublinInquirer. I looked at the issue of housing on @DubCityCouncil since the last local elections. Since then 21 full votes have been taken on the issue (rezoning, sale of lands, etc). (1/3)
Using it, I collated how many times each group voted against a housing motion (be it for political, commercial, ideological or practical reasons). In doing so, I marked each group by simple majority as to how they voted. For individuals (some notable!), see the tracker. (2/3)
The breakdown is as such (number of times group majority voted against a motion for housing development).
I4C 21, PBP 19, SF 16, SD 12, FF 2, GRN 2 LAB 2, FG 1.
(INDs not counted as a group)
For each vote details, see http://counciltracker.ie (3/3)
