I keep coming across people saying you don’t have to worry about #COVID19 because it has a high survival rate, percentage wise.
.
That’s one of those things that’s technically correct in theory, but not really true in practice.
.
Let me explain.

Potentially high survival rates assume IDEAL conditions — being in a high quality, well staffed hospital the entire time; w/ plenty of highly trained, well rested healthcare workers; w/ all the equipment, supplies, treatments, & meds you need; being able to afford it all; etc.

I cannot possibly state this strongly enough:

CONDITIONS

NO

LONGER

EXIST

.
IN
.
AMERICA!

The survival rate drops significantly when you have to try to take care of yourself at home…
.
…with NO medicines, NO supplies, NO equipment, and NO treatments…
.
…because the hospitals have no staffed beds left available!

What about the meds Trump & his buddies got?

The monoclonal antibodies?
.
Yeah, no!
.
YOU are NOT going to get it!
.
It’s over $100,000 per treatment…
.
…& even the rich can’t get it because it hasn’t been approved yet…
.
…& there’s only a handful in existence to go around!

The President of the United States himself has to pull a whole bunch of strings for someone to get it…

…& that WILL

NOT

HAPPEN

FOR

YOU!

And if you luck out with a “mild” case that clears at home?

Doesn’t mean you won’t be permanently damaged by it.

Yes, even if you’re young & healthy!
