1/n) Since some have created an over the top media frenzy over a journalist forecasting military action against Pakistan in Feb 2019, I humbly submit my post on Feb 14th in immediate aftermath of the Pulwama attack.

2/n) My point here is that (not only me but) scores of people who follow defense and strategic affairs very closely saw significant military action being undertaken by India in response to Pulwama attacks.

3/n) Even mainstream newspapers had outlined an airstrike option against Pakistan https://twitter.com/CestMoiz/status/1350987534499799046

4/n) Now if the so called leaked WhatsApp conversations of the journalist contained mission specific details of the Balakot airstrike than it would be concerning since classified national security information would have leaked.

5/n) I am not trying to either defend or attack the journalist in question or his vocal critics. But the media folks who have run with this story as some kind of a major "news expose" need to understand that many saw this coming (even without the help from any WhatsApp chats)
