I know there’s not one path to getting work in comics-but what paths do writers take? If I want to get pitches in front of editors (at big 2 for example) is the smart option to send editors copies of my graphic novels? How do you writers get your pitches in front of editors?
I guess my questions are, do I have my agent reach out? I don’t want to bug people for introductions or DM editors who follow me. What’s the least obnoxious way to say, “I’d really like to pitch (blank) or hey, if you ever need pitches I’d be happy to send you (blank). “
