This has always been a difficult task since not all agencies have a fully functioning insider threat program. While the malicious and coerced threat exhibits personality, lifestyle, grooming and decor changes, it is the ignorant conspirator, the person who doesn't realize they are doing anything wrong that is the most difficult challenge as they have no clue & thus exhibit no indicators.
Next time you attend your Insider threat brief, look around you, the missing employee may be inadvertently selling your company down the river.
