I don't know if anyone will read this, but I want to share my opinion regarding the whole âEunwoo canât act, heâs just a pretty face and nothing moreâ talk thatâs been going on. First of all, I didnât think Eunwoo was attractive AT ALL before I started stanning Astro. (Thread) ++
I actually used to kind of have a bad impression of EW too (Iâll explain why). I discovered Astro bcuz of Moonbin, but I was just a casual listener for a long time & didnât stan them. I knew about EWâs dramas back when they aired, but the reason I didnât watch them ++
for a long time was bcuz of all the negative comments I kept seeing about him. I saw an excessive number of comments by people saying that he âcanât actâ & a bunch of other negative things about him. So, I unfortunately believed them & didnât watch his dramas bcuz of it. ++
Then, over this past summer, I randomly decided to give RHGHR & MIIGB a chance, & I was really impressed by EW's acting in them. Again, I did not find EW attractive at all & didnât like him prior to watching his dramas. But then, after watching his dramas, ++
I decided to officially start stanning Astro & I wanted to learn more about him & the other members. In other words, I discovered Astro bcuz of MB, but I ended up stanning them bcuz of EW. And if there hadnât been so many people going out of their way just to bash EW ++
for no reason & saying he âcanât actâ & âheâs just a pretty face & has no talent,â & if I hadnât believed what they were saying about him, then I wouldâve become an Aroha much sooner. ++
For the people who are going out of their way just bash EW every chance they get, & attacking anyone who says anything nice about him or who tries to defend him, not only is it mean/disrespectful to EW, his peers, & his fans (not to mention bullying, BTW), but itâs SABOTAGE. ++
Yes, DESPITE all of the hate he constantly gets, EW is still really popular. But, Iâm sure there are many people who have chosen not to watch EWâs dramas & have overlooked EW, his work, & even Astro, bcuz of the constant & excessive badmouthing thatâs been going on about him ++
for YEARS, & constant attacks on anyone who likes or praises him (thus discouraging some from doing so). This is BULLYING & SABOTAGE, & it needs to STOP. Itâs fine if people donât think heâs a great actor, but what do you gain by posting it all over the internet? ++
All comments like âEunwoo canât actâ do is hurt him & the people who like & admire him. Nobody gains ANYTHING by commenting hateful things about him & attacking people who like/praise him. It just needlessly hurts people & creates a toxic environment. So, please, just stop. ++
There are TONS of actors who I personally think arenât very good at acting, but Iâve never commented hateful things to or about them, or attacked their fans for liking or praising them. So, why do people constantly go out of their way to hurt/attack Eunwoo and his fans? ++
I wish that people would just leave Eunwoo and his fans be. If you donât like him or his acting, then donât watch his dramas. Itâs as simple as that. You don't need to drag him or other people for liking/praising him. Just ignore him/them and move on with your life. ++
And to Arohas who donât think that membersâ solo activities matter or benefit Astro: youâre wrong, they absolutely do. Eunwooâs solo activities have brought SOOOOO many people to the Aroha fandom, myself included (since I didnât actually stan Astro before I saw his dramas). ++
So, Arohas should try to support Eunwoo as much as they can, because his success is vital for Astroâs growth and success as well, since he brings so many new people to the fandom. If we want the Aroha fandom to grow and for Astro to get the recognition & attention they deserve ++
then we need to support & hype ALL of the membersâ solo activities, bcuz they are important for Astro as well. Eunwooâs solo activities allow Fanmu to earn enough money for Astroâs CBs AND they help to bring new people to the Aroha fandom. So, letâs give him our full support. ++
Anyways, these are just MY personal thoughts on the matter (please donât attack me). If you actually read my thread until the end, thank you so much--youâre amazing.
