Some #TwitteRx interview tips from a recent resident (bit late since the Canadian Match is over).

⃣Stay calm!
⃣If you can find the answer online, don't ask the question in the interview
⃣Avoid low-hanging fruit (e.g. "I want to gain clinical knowledge" - duh?)

🧵
⃣Take opportunities to interview the program back (are they the right fit for you?)
⃣Your examples/stories should not all be clinical
⃣Practice, but not until "perfect" or sounding rehearsed
⃣Be genuine
⃣Be gracious and thankful (in person and with a follow-up email)
⃣Be yourself (the most important in my opinion - e.g. I mentioned being gay/interested in health equity in every interview. Weird vibes? = not ranked high/at all).
