This is antithetical to Conservatism, which shares a worldview with Christianity. Saved by Grace, which means redemption for any infraction if we’ve decided to eliminate our past, and “die to ourselves”. The old ways are gone... /2
we’re afforded the benefit of the doubt of becoming “a new creature.” New creation. Meaning whatever the past behaviors may have encapsulated in your life, you’re not that person now that you’ve made the change. A false version of this exists on the left../3
