It’s been fun seeing so many people from Twitter start to create more on TikTok!

It’s been one of my most rewarding creative outlets over the last year, so if you’re interested in getting started yourself, here are some tips I’ve learned growing to 320K followers.
Some basics to get started:

-Keep videos short (most should be under 15 seconds)

-Convert videos to vertical formats (9x16 or 8x10 are best)

-Use trending audio and music

-Make your description something that prompts comments

-Use popular hashtags like #SeaShanty
Some strategies for growth:

-Most important thing is to be consistent in a specific niche

-Find video templates for yourself that represent your “core content” and you can produce easily

-When a trend pops up, like #SeaShanty, put your unique spin on it for your audience
Some ideas for video to get started:

-Day in the life vlogs

-Interview clips

-React to videos with TikTok Duets and Stitches

-Rank and review things in your niche

-Tutorials

-Skits

-Storytelling about events and experiences
Overall just have fun with it and learn what inspires you by watching other trending TikToks. Lots of weird stuff gets traction (again, like #SeaShanty).
