this particular set was on a sound stage in Astoria, NY. it was so amazing and haunting to visit and observe some shoot days in Hap’s basement.

this sort of environment is super familiar to me now, but in 2016 i was experiencing working as an actor for the first time and had never been on a film set or a sound stage before. this is what most buildings that shows are filmed in look like. excuse the quality, it was 2016.

a little caterpillar on my Buck Vu shirt! btw, as an easter egg for the audience, i designed this t-shirt for Part II of The OA to spell out “Buck Vu” in deer antlers!!!
