Something a certain podcaster once pointed out that stuck with me, resonated with my own experiences, is that Disneyland always looks clean because it has a lot of trash cans. You're never far from one.

People don't succeed or fail. Systems set them up for success or failure.
Disney decided that their theme park looking clean was in their best interest so they set up their system to make it easy to keep it clean. You don't have to fight the system to throw trash in a trash can because they put trash cans everywhere.
When a system results in suffering and death, many people (mostly liberals) like to assume that the system is broken and can be fixed. They don't like to consider that it's working as intended, that suffering and death is the means to an end and sometimes even the end itself.
You are suffering and dying because someone with power decided they would benefit more from that than they would from you surviving and thriving. It's not an accident or an unfortunate necessity. It's a choice. Some of them don't care about you and the rest actively hate you.
If our society wanted people to be housed and fed and clothed and happy, it would make those things happen. It's not trying to do those things and failing. It doesn't want to do those things in the first place.

If we didn't want trash in the streets we'd install more trash cans.
