Thread. So @RepBoebert has shown her true colors. Thousands of Americans see her for the #tinytraitor she is. BUT this will all be for naught w/out meaningful investigation into her role in 1/6. So far, there have been recriminations from major news outlets and many local to CO.
2/Stories have been published in @washingtonpost @newyorktimes & even @nypost took a dig at her. @denverpost @DurangoHerald & other CO outlets are scrutinizing her actions & her sordid past, including numerous arrests, tax evasion allegations, possible misuse of campaign $, etc.
3/There also seems to be momentum building among her colleagues. @RepSherrill did not name her but has vowed to find those in Congress who aided the terrorists. @RepSeanMaloney got into w/her when she falsely accused him of naming her as an accomplice. @repjasoncrowe said on...
@9NEWS that he is looking at tools to get her out of Congress and said he has "no doubt she was part of inciting the riot." @RepTimRyan has confirmed an investigation has been opened but hasn't named her. @AOC, a likely target of the mob, has said she did not feel safe even 4/
5/ going to the extraction point that day bc she knows other Members are "Q sympathizers & white supremacists." @SpeakerPelosi appointed Ret. Lt. Gen. Honored to investigate the attack & focus on "immediate security concerns" which would include looking at Boebert's involvement.
