My Top 10 Non-Hip Hop Albums❤️
All these albums have either helped me mentally or just make me feel good about life❤️
10. Songs in the Key of Life- Stevie Wonder

Going above and beyond on this album. The world changed by the way he had a positive burst of creativity, being so impactful for over 40 years! The love he pours onto this album makes me so happy and always leaves me in a good mood
9. To Let A Good Thing Die- Bruno Major

31 minutes of pure beauty. Bruno Majors voice is like magic, while using his angelic voice to the guitar licks in the background. He gives you a feeling through this album by leaving you with a kind of freedom from love to heartbreak
8. Once in a While- Dean Martin

I could talk about this album for hours. His voice is so soothing. Whenever I feel sad I always turn this album on and dance. Dean Martin returns back to traditional pop in this 70s album showing how versatile he is.
7. Being So Normal- Peach Pit

Contradicting their album title most of their songs are not “normal”. Their songs shift from a more upbeat side to a contrasting slower almost sad sound as well. Their lyricism and instrumentals are on point all throughout the album.
This album makes me feel like I am in the moment of making the best memories of my life and could easily be the soundtrack to my life.
6. Laundry Service- Shakira

You knew I had to put Shakira in here. Shakira makes music that is so upbeat and infectious that all it makes me wanna do it dance. Song after song always has a certain groove to it where you can’t do anything, but wanna have fun. On this album she..
speaks primarily English, breaking the boundary where most Latin artist would cross Spanish and English, proving he passion and love for music is great and can be loved by anyone.
5. The Lumineers (ST)- The Lumineers

This album brings back so many good memories, no auto tune, no drums, and almost little to none production on it. Just everyone in the room having a good time making beautiful music. From being catchy to deep thoughts this album has it all.
4. The Weather- Pond

This album feels like a haze that constantly looms around you as waves of synths, disco, jazzy horns, electronic beats rush around you. My first listen on this album makes me feel as I am looking over the album while still being immersed in it.
It is a perfect way they set mood and create a concept album about the impending end of the world
3. Titanic Rising- Weyes Blood

One of the most beautiful first listens I’ve ever had! Her storytelling is flawless! Listening with full volume transcends me to another realm where I have no worries and can be in my best mentally. This album makes me float for ever second of it
2. A Song for Every Moon- Bruno Major

Bruno Majors debut album is like reading through a journal where we are being shifted from mood to mood. Romance, clarity, relaxation, happiness, etc. His angelic voice through every track give you a feeling to want even more.
1. In Between Dreams- Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson has helped me through so much. From my mental health to even making memories. Jack just makes music for people to feel good. His best album, in my opinion, combines the feeling of being cozy on a summer day to being with your....
soulmate. His voice combined with his acoustic guitar gives the listener a feeling of warmth and happiness. Whether it’s singing about love or distress Jack Johnson can always bring an uplifting mood to all his songs leaving everyone happy in the end.
Thank you for reading and I appreciate every single one of you guys! I hope you enjoyed it as I did making it!!❤️❤️
