Why won’t people just try and leave the sky alone, and mitigate climate change through other mechanisms? (like applying market penalties, utilizing renewables)
Plans to dim sunlight by covering sky with dust. Ummm, what about those who need the stars? https://www.forbes.com/sites/arielcohen/2021/01/11/bill-gates-backed-climate-solution-gains-traction-but-concerns-linger/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

This kinda stuff annoys me because it assumes humans are the sole and only being on this planet.
There are hundreds of species that rely on the stars at night or even the natural levels of light during the day per season.
Why are we trying to mess with this? So selfish.

Climate change is shit, and absolutely a priority - but spraying dust into atmosphere to reflect sunlight in the hopes of dimming/cooling is a dumb idea in a long list of dumb ideas.
Keep it simple: transition to renewables quickly. Everybody wins.
