In just 1.5 months on Money Twitter I've been able to grow my following to over 600 (y'all are amazing).

1. Choose a niche
Decide what your Twitter will focus on, and stick to it. People follow you because they're interested in your niche, so limit how many tweets stray too far from it.
I tweet about basketball and other things sometimes, but 90% of my tweets are about finance.

2. Optimize your account
Your profile picture, banner, and bio should all be appealing and relate to whatever your niche is.
It shouldn't take someone 5 minutes to figure out what it is you tweet about.
Also, utilize the pinned tweets feature.

3. Tweet
Lol yeah I know, self explanatory huh? But this is so important I had to mention it explicitly.
It is very important, especially as a new account, to tweet as much as possible.
I prefer not to target a specific amount, but just know you should be tweeting daily.

4. Follow like-minded accounts
This is as much for you personal growth as it is your Twitter growth.
There are always going to be people in your niche that know more than you and have other experiences.
Don't compete with them. Learn from them, grow with them.

5. Engage
Provide *meaningul* engagement with other accounts in your niche. Foster conversations, share value, teach and actively learn.
I can't stress enough how important the word meaningful is though.

6. Engagement Groups
These are DM groups where you all support one another's tweets.
All engagement groups are not created equally though.
Really great engagement have good conversations and provide a great learning environment as well.

7. Buy a course
These were some very brief tips... but there's much more to it.
I highly recommend investing in yourself, and buying a good course.
The bigger your account the more people you can teach & learn from, and the easier it will be for you to monetize your account
