You seem to be arguing that it's inherently nefarious for a 3rd party to strategize about how to win voters to their side. Leftists differ on strategy, some believe breaking up the Party is essential, some like inside-outside, and some believe electoralism in its entirety is dead https://twitter.com/ryangrim/status/1350860561056194567
while I don't really see much benefit in targeting the squad, unless this group is grifting people for money and has no intention of running candidates for office, they're free to employ whatever strategy they see fit in order to advance their goals. Just like Dems and GOP do.
the reality is that if a 3rd party is to become competitive in this country, it's going to be messy, and it's very likely going to adversely affect the Democratic Party. People have to decide for themselves whether short term losses are worth breaking up the duopoly. And since..
neither party works for most Americans...chances are good, they will.

Personally, I'm fine with Left candidates using the Dem Party's infrastructure to win elections. But, I'm also not giving any of them my money and I'm focusing my energy on direct action and direct democracy.
"they're preying on people's anger"...uh huh, that's a thing political parties do. You can argue that it's shitty and underhanded, but you cannot claim that it's not a pretty time-tested strategy in US politics.
