In Russia, the Communist Party is the actual opposition. Navalny is not an opposition leader. He has no popular support. Some of Navalny's videos on his Youtube channel uploaded at the same time appear to have the same number of views. It's almost as if...someone is screwing with the algorithm to amplify their status. Nah, couldn't be!
Completely unrelated to Biden's promised "tougher stance on Russia," Navalny & Co are planning anti-govt protests on Jan. 23. I hope that the Russian govt will use the recent experience in handling protests from the US & EU. It's always good to learn from its western partners.
