As a black person it's v weird to me that everyone is talking about one man doing cornrows in that movie. Honestly it's not THAT big of a deal to me. The conversation needs to be larger. Like 1) All white people need to stop putting white people in ethnic hairs. (cont.)

2) Why do they think every drug dealer looks like that? Why does a drug dealer need to have a hairstyle work by black people? Drug dealers can literally look like your neighbor. I don't feel mad towards Ben at all. It's obvious that people only care bc HE did it. (cont.)

When they should care about at the issue in general. It's exhausting to me. He didn't do anything inherently awful. It was a mistake, but a mistake made for him by a ton of behind the scenes people. Can we please move on now??
