In the interest of taking it easy post-covid, I decided to ask for help schlepping bags of dog food.

Figured I’d walk a few feet with Pepé as practice before we hauled food around the farm. But Pepé had her own ideas.

Audio, Blair talking:

“Good girl! Okay, ready? All right!”

[pepé takes off]

“There she goes with the dog food. That’s a 50 pound bag.”

[pause]

“I wonder if she’ll bring it back.”

Update: after taking the kibble for a scenic ride through the woods, Pepé headed back to her dog house, bringing the sled with her.

Naturally I had to try an experiment.

Audio:

“Well, should we give this a go? I’m a lot heavier than a bag of dog food. Ready? All right.”

[hysterical giggling as the sled starts moving]

“Weeee!”
