I’ve represented clients in litigation for many years & in my experience certain things are always true: if the lawyers for the other side act in a dramatic, exaggerated, desperate, obstructive & unreasonable manner, their case is in real trouble and they are panicking...
If they start filing lots of frivolous, time wasting motions/applications with the court that are likely to annoy the judge, they are desperate & running out of options…
When a witness/witnesses start trying to lock down, hide or erase their social media, it’s because there is incriminating evidence on it that will severely damage the case.
When the litigant on the other side refuses to admit they have lied and/or has unrealistic expectations as to the outcome of a case, it leads to unreasonable & bizarre conduct by their lawyers and lots of mistakes.
AH’s case is in serious trouble… everything fits with my experience of litigants who’s cases are falling apart… and something tells me this is just the beginning!
