I always say Boruto anime does wonders for Manga cannon stuff by adding details and filler scenes which add value to certain moments.

However they missed with this episode more than they added to it honestly

Here's what they changed (Good and Bad):

And the dialogue when Naruto is telling Sarada and Mitsuki to look after him and why is better in the manga. Anime changed it

For BoruSara shippers manga did it 50x better, shame cuz I thought this would've been cool when animated.

Big missed BoruSara advancement opportunity since it's already kinda known these 2 end up together 90%

And Anime did show Mitsuki's character development more clearly.

However manga did it more subtle by making it seem like Mitsuki wasn't baiting him here (Which was his ultimate goal)
Anime handled this better by giving Mitsuki some of Boruto lines, thus making him more independent.
