The latest exodus of #KashmiriHindus took place due to the g3nocide on 19 January, 1990.
Before 1982: Much prior to it, Farooq Abdullah (CM 1986-90) had been sending Kashmiri Mus youth to #Pakistan for arms training.

Apr 1988: Islamabad meet, Gen Zia-ul-Haq: "Gentlemen, let there be no mistake, however, that our aim remains quite clear and firm the liberation of the Kashmir

1989, 4 Nov: Nilkanth Ganjoo (), a #Srinagar HC judge, who had sentenced JKLF terr0rist Maqbul Bhat to death, was shot dead by a 3 people on Hari Singh High Street in

KM neighbours, friends, co-workers didn't spare their counterpart KHs. e.g. The Mus policeman Mohd. Yusuf posted for the security of the Mahant at Vicharnag killed with his rifle butt the Mahant Pandit Keshav Nath, for refusing to embrace Izlam.

Over 2000 documented brutal #murders took place in a single night (e.g.Running a ch@insaw through a woman to cut her alive into two)

Looking at the overall Govt response at the time, #KashmiriHindus lost all the confidence & trust in State, Central Govt. Due to the lack of justice even today, the Indian Judiciary also *HAS* to answer the people why it can't give justice.
