Why don’t you find a way for your students to see the myriad of cultures and nuance in the Afrolatinx community?

Before you have your students memorize facts, why don’t you question yourself, am I humanizing? #langchat #BlackHistoryMonth
Am I using narratives of resistance, success and brilliance? Am I discussing the colonialism, systemic racism and yt supremacy that caused the struggle of said person in the first place? #langchat #BlackHistoryMonth
