Here he shows good vision to bounce just off tackle and then has enough speed to take this to the house!
This is the issue with his lack of speed, the run gets bounced outside and he can’t turn the corner before the defense converges.
This is one of my favorite runs, he goes off the tackle and Tightend, gets small and shows upper body contact balance as he breaks tackles through the line, then shows a nice side step, and burts into the secondary!
Here he shows good vision to cut inside tackle instead of outside, then follows guard though second level and bounces off tacklers and finishes for a nice run!
Here’s another great run, he shows vision to cut back inside and get North and south, then breaks a tackle, shows contact balance after the tackle, then uses stiff arm for more yards, and then HURDLES a guy! This run shows you everything that is Trey Sermon!
To summarize this Sermon has improved greatly from OU to OSU, he has refined many parts of his game. He still needs to refine some of it, but his improvement shows he’s willing to learn!
As long as he refines them he will be successful at the next level!
