I have been in the industry of Digital Art for fucking ages. From making bar flyers and shit 3D type logos to terrible budget tv commercials, from posting a skull a day as my lunchtime break escape to working with the likes of John Wick and XBOX. 1)
In all these years even though what I was doing was creative I didn’t feel like an “artist” until a couple of years ago. Even then I felt I had to label myself as an illustrator, or an art director. I struggled with the idea and the perception of being called a digital artist. 2)
I was an idiot at first and I didn’t believe in the NFT and crypto art world. I won’t lie, I took the piss. But the community stayed strong and pushed me further. Few months ago I had my first drop which sold out within seconds. 3)
On Thursday my second collection titled Relics Of Mortal Past drops and I couldn’t be prouder of myself for being able to listen and see past my own stubbornness. 4)
As digital artists we have all sensed judgment and imposter syndrome “We aren’t as good as the fine art world” WELL FUCK THAT! Art transcends mediums, ages, cultures, races and politics. 5)
We are digital and our world is digital. Whether you like it or not digital artists don’t even need the word digital because we are ARTISTS. 6)
I feel worthy, inspired and honoured to call myself an artist no matter my medium. 7)
We all have the platforms and the opportunities to create a legacy in this community without the fear of archaic art gallery politics and auction house monopoly. 8)
The art world is evolving and I am honoured to be a part of this movement. 🤘🏻🤍💀 9)
