Now that everyone has started to come around to my way of thinking re: #GalaxysEdge (good try, but no). I feel its time to publish what I would have done given the @starwars franchise. My idea would have cost more money and more time but "It’s kind of fun to do the impossible"
The general concept is to relive the original trilogy through the locations that resonate with everyone. Moreover it pushes people to visit multiple parks for different experiences. We start with a 3 park plan, each with at least 2 rides, specific parks TBD:
First we open our Star Wars Experience on Tatooine. Relive various shops similar to those you see in Episode 1. But no trip is complete without a trip to the Mos Eisley spaceport bar with live music and drinks. What about rides you ask? .
The Millennium Falcon ride we see today will be similar except it is an escape ride. This will be a theme as it exists in one form or another at every park. The other ride will relive Jabbas Palace and Jedi, built in a vein of Mystic Manor and Rise of the Resistance.
Our next Star War Experience at the 2nd park is Hoth. Much like the Starship Hotel, it can be built enclosed to truly feel like its winter, even in FL or CA. The shops and food will revolve around the winter theme. And rides?
Oh no, Hoth is under attack by AT-ATs so we need to both take them down and get off the planet, welcome to our Millennium Falcon type ride! Use your tow cables!
Finally at our 3rd park we visit the Death Star itself. This immersive experience assumes you may be someone like Fin, who is working with the rebellion. Shops include more "dark" offerings as well as restaurants with an Empire theme. Rides here should be pretty obvious:
The more laid back ride is an assault on the shield generator on Endor, while we ramp up the excitement by reliving BOTH death star runs from A New Hope & Return of the Jedi.
