As recently as Dec there were constructive discussions re Airbus/Boeing
But Sabine says the EU was given only a few hours of notice before USTR announced it would apply extra tariffs

On CAI, services provisions WILL be applied on an MFN basis, ie benefiting ALL China's trading partners. The manufacturing ones won't.
Progress on the trilateral discussions stalled a year ago because of disagreement over what to do next with agreed rules on subsidies etc.
