LRT: If Rosa Parks had been able to get the capital to start her own bus company, the white community of Montgomery would have burned it to the ground and still expected her or her family to pay the debts she incurred starting it.

"Just make your own" is always a lie, and a violent lie, because the people who want exclusive or special treatment won't stand idly and peaceably by when they see someone with their own.

There's no reason a whole community should *have* to make their own parallel version of essential public infrastructure just to live their lives, but also, the same system that necessitates it won't allow it, for the same reasons it necessitates it.
