THREAD.
My Dad was at the local pharmacy on his way to my Grans (he looks after her) & there was a queue.
The woman at the front of the queue was taking a long time talking to the pharmacist assistant about herbal teas, cos she was looking for something that relaxes...
you but isn’t a drug.
Assistant said she loved herbal teas so was happy to chat. This went on for 2-3 minutes & the woman in the queue in front of my Dad got very annoyed waiting & stormed out the shop, hugging, puffing & letting everyone know she was angry.
My Dad moved...
up in the queue. He didn’t mind waiting.
He heard the woman ask the assistant what tea is good for sleeping and the assistant asked ‘aren’t you sleeping? How long have you not been sleeping for?’ She was obviously realising maybe the women needed more than tea...
Then the women told the assistant the tea was for her son. He hasn’t slept since November cos his partner committed suicide. 😔
She’s just trying to help her boy out she said.

So so sad.
But also a reminder that you just don’t know what’s going on in peoples lives, and...
a wee bit of patience and kindness can mean so much to someone sometimes.

My Dad was pretty cut up telling me about it, he said the women was just so determined to help her boy get a good nights sleep.

I know we are always saying #BeKind but sometimes I think we need...
a reminder to be patient too.
Life is hard.
You truly don’t know what other people are going through.

#BePatient
