This weekend taught me a lot of working people aren’t against capitalism because it’s an oppressive system. They’re against it because it doesn’t benefit them. Some of y’all don’t want to end systems, but become one of the oppressors in the system and that’s fucked up.
Even those of you making “good money” $75-100k per year, aren’t doing as well as you think you are, because you’re still being exploited as a worker and not being paid nearly as much as your labor produces. It’s smoke and mirrors. You don’t own shit, you don’t run shit.
Minimum wage workers are exploited the most in this country. The ones making a lil more have a superiority complex, and babe, you do not have the range to flex as hard as you do. Your company moves overseas tomorrow, you’re fucked. Again, you own nothing but your labor.
The one’s at the bottom know they’re being exploited, you middle wage makers are living in a contrived fantasy. Believing hard work and grit is all it took. You truly believe you’re better and made better choices, when one decision by your superiors can change your life overnight
