People keep using the word insurrection to describe the Cap Hill melee, which was a group of angry crackpots LARPing in the building. They didn't even have real weapons. It was nothing the media claims it was. Insurrection label is deliberate. They want to criminalize wrongthink.

It wasn't an insurrection. It wasn't a siege. It was a group of rabble rousers who brawled with cops & were *let in* to the building by cap hill police. Once inside, they largely took photos & videos to document their LARPing. These ppl were clueless. Insurrection? How, exactly?

Legislators, pundits, media hacks are leveraging this incident in an attempt to take sweeping action against speech in America. It's all a power grab. Them dialing up the insane rhetoric to 11 is the real threat. The attack is not on the rioters, but on the 1st Amendment itself.

If you watch CNN or MSNBC, you're probably convinced that MAGA "terrorists" & "insurrectionists" are planning to storm the Capitol until govt has been replaced. Orwellian weaponization of rhetoric is purposed w attacking our freedoms. There needs to be much more pushback on this.

Look at what they're trying to accomplish in response to what they're labeling a "violent coup attempt." It's deliberate.
