My two cents on Arnab Goswami’s entire “Political Career" Thread:
The reason I call his career political would be obvious to many, but what needs to be talked about is his paradigm shift from one ideology to another and how he’s never been true to either of them.

There was a time when Arnab believed Yogi Adityanth was some illiterate man who knew absolutely nothing about Dharma and needed to get his mental balance checked. Needless to talk about what the same man thinks of Yogi Adityanath now.
Although with his recent leaked WhatsApp chats, the reason behind this unexpected nature of the move relating to his PMO links is conspicuous, are we really going to settle down for “it’s okay for a journalist to have political connections?”
Because all these years we kept calling out the left liberal gang for having connections with INC.
Prakash Javadekar, one of the few ministers from BJP who openly condemned Arnab’s arrest by the Maha govt, is termed as “useless” by the same man.

Journalists like Navika Kumar and Rajat Sharma who despite having no connections with the PMO stand united for the same ideology are made fun of and you still believe Arnab here, is fighting for the community?
Remember when we left no stone unturned in calling out Barkha Dutt for her coverage on the 26/11 attack, endangering lives of 100s of civilians? Well, what are we doing now when we know our nationalistic hero was actually celebrating the Pulwama attack?
Arnab Goswami’s journey from NDTV to Republic is like moving from one extreme to another, but the change in his ideologies isn’t about what's right or wrong but what pays him more.
Arnab is smart enough to know that a right-wing bias is a good business and with little to zero options, people are going to support him anyway.
The right wing often clashes over stances within the community, affecting the unity of the system.

But I believe if there’s no unity in the RW, it’s because many of us still want to stand with the truth in the end and if that stops us from being united, then be it.
You don’t have to become the left to defeat the left.
