@nbwa 2 These GOP members challenged the certification process of electors, a formality normally, solely for for political optics. In addition, in the days and weeks preceding attack they gave inflammatory speeches with violent & racist undertones, affirming election was fraud.
@nwba 3 On the day of attack, Trump gave a speech to the group of marginalized people that he had been tweeting to since the election, and told them to “stop the steal” whipping them up up into a frenzy and sent them to the capital. Our legislative body and VP were n capital.
@nwba 5 These GOP lawmakers are traitors and seditionists. The DA in the District of Columbia is investigating all of for inciting a riot. This was preplanned for months, evidence there was purposely minimal police presence. Lawmakers terrorized for hours waiting for help.
@nwba 5 Calls for national guard deployment were denied from the highest levels of the pentagon. It’s reported Trump watched the attack and took no action to send federal assistance. Video shows him and his family cheering on the attacks. The enabling GOP made this happen.
@nwba 6 It must be stated that numerous investigations, 60 courts and state legislators confirmed their states election were transparent and conducted lawfully. This was a free and fair election. The attack resulted in five deaths, two were policemen. GOP enablers are complicit!
@nwba 4 These GOP enablers gave legitimacy to Trump, who has become increasingly unhinged, claiming he was the winner and convincing his supporters they had been cheated and they could prevent certification so Trump would remain president. This was totally delusional.
