Nothing drives me more crazy than people going “Brady never went to a SB without a top 10 defense”

6/9 SBs Brady’s defense wasn’t top 10 let alone top 5.

Scoring defense can be highly misleading and also silly.

Tampa is 8th at 22.2 ppg
GB is 13th at 23.1 ppg

That’s .9 difference.... yet you now can just say wow Rodgers no top 10 defense...

It’s the dumb narratives that are around because people lack context or any sort of ability to process information. Brady’s last SB yes defense let up 3 points. In the 2 games prior they let up 28 and 31. They don’t make the SB without amazing offense preforming

Rodgers last NFC ship game they put up 20 points. If Brady doesn’t lead his team to 41 points and 37 points there is no SB. In Rodgers last 10 playoff games his offense has had 3 games of 30+ points. Brady had 7/10 put up 30 points....

My pinned rant is mostly do to the fact that Rodgers is awesome but people act like they score 100 points but woah is them and they still lose. While Brady is oh ha see he only scored 13 points in a Sb and won anyone could do that. Rodgers had a game against the falcons

Where his defense let up 44 points, is it his fault? No it’s a team game, scoring 0 in the first half isn’t all him. And he wasn’t terrible 283 yards 3tds and 1 int 91 passer rating, defense sucks right. Yet when Brady defense lets up 41 points in a SB

To finish, people act like SBs are a team thing which they are to an extent, yet go look at the last 3 SB runs for Brady his offenses have averaged 33 ppg. THATS INSANE. 37, 41, 33, 35, 34, 36, 34 are just some of the high scoring outputs they had on those runs.
