I think it's safe to say Jovic is not a lone striker. You cannot expect him to do what Benzema does. This is one of the reasons why maybe he didn't fit in Zidane's system

He is a quality player and could still have a future at Real. He desperately needs this loan.

After a horrible season in 18/19, Zidane took charge in 19/20 and OVERACHIEVED winning LaLiga and Supercopa.

Hazard's big signing was unsuccessful because of injuries and I will always consider this as a poor signing because 160m for 29 YO is way too much.
We relied on Asensio after Ronaldo left and it didn't work out. We signed Hazard to fill in for Bale and it failed.

We lack quality and consistent wingers. Rodrygo and Vini are not ready to be starters and perform every week yet. Asensio and Lucas are not good enough.
I still do have faith in Zidane. He has gone on a limb this season with no signings. However, if he is to be sacked by the end of the season, I personally would want to see Ancelloti take charge. Looking at the situation Real are in I don't see a better fit than Ancelotti

Signing only Mbappe will strengthen only one side of our wing unless we get to see the Hazard we know from Chelsea OR Rodrygo proves that he can produce better output than Vini/Asensio/Lucas at least 15 goals per season

Mbappe is only 22 and can develop tremendously.
Again, like I said Jovic is not a lone striker and if we sign Halaand then maybe pairing them upfront could be a success. But playing with 2 strikers is not a Real Madrid thing. So this may be highly unlikely to happen.

A lot of people have complained about the lack of game time Martin and Eder have got and rightly so.
But to say that this is hindering their development is complete BS. Game time and development are 2 different things. You do not necessarily need game time to develop as a player.

Kubo was one of the best signings. He has massive potential and is growing in LaLiga too.

Brahim too is doing well in Milan.

Reinier with the least game time has not shown us much.
But from Flamengo to Dortmund, he surely is in a better club and is probably developing better

I am unhappy that missed out on Marc Roca. We have been needing a backup for Case for a very long time and I was not a big fan of Llorente tbh but selling him to our rivals was stupidity. I hope we can get Camavinga.

We need to be patient with the current squad we have. We have young players with massive potential. Although I do not agree with this plan and I'd rather have signed established players but what's done is done. Hopefully, this plan set up by the club plays out well
