LGBTQ+ AND THE CHRISTIAN SOCIETY.
A thread.
Feelings for the same sex is natural (I don't know why but it is. From the podcasts I've listened to)
1st Corinthians 10:23 says; we are at liberty to do anything, but not everything is beneficial.
Most of us Christians are very judgmental when it comes to this Very Fragile Topic
We must love our neighbors as ourselves. We mustn't judge. The fact that we mustn't judge doesn't mean we shouldn't help people who are on the wrong path. I used to be very judgmental. When I see LGBTQ people on my feed I'd get very disgusted and tweet hate comments.
Latter part of last year, I realized I had gotten the whole concept of LOVING MY NEIGHBOR AS MYSELF wrong. I used to think loving my neighbor as myself meant to love my Christian neighbor and not the non christian neighbor.
People of the LGBTQ+ community deserve love.
We must not shun them. Shun them, God will shun you.
We must intercede on their behalf. We must pray that God touches their hearts. Judging has become a plaque in the church, and this is causing people to lose their faith.
