Please, western people. The third-world country is not your free real estate, especially Indonesia who's already suffering really hard from this pandemic. I understand that you need a better place to stay, but this isn't right.
Indonesia has already so much shit going on. Our covid cases are getting higher every day, plane crash, flood, healthcare starting to collapse, and all that. We're already struggling so hard to survive here. Please be considerate of our condition.
And before you accuse me of being racist, no, that's not the point. The fact that western people (yes, including white people) ALWAYS glorify Bali and my country as a paradise and all that and even encouraging people to move there in a middle of pandemic is the problem.
Gosh, I don't know why my random rant gets this much traction. Sorry that I can't reply because I have had my non-mutual notifs muted for years and I'm feeling way too overwhelmed.
