Being an American citizen is a very big deal.

Huge deal.

I've lived life as a only a Ghanaian citizen and I've lived life as an American citizen.
I've tried to explain this to Americans in my own family.

Everything from the food, energy consumption, technology, internet usage occurs on the backs and blood of the Global South

The American dollar is strong bc America is a violent empire.
