Why Mac Miller’s Circles is Such a Beautiful Final Album
Circles Anniversary

If any of you guys would enjoy listening to two Macheads talk about how much Circles meant to them, this video might interest you 🤍

Here’s the link:
Mac’s Trilogy

Mac was well into working on the Circles album while he was still with us. Mac envisioned Circles to be a companion album to Swimming. The albums 'Swimming’ & 'Circles' were the first 2 parts to a planned trilogy; the third album would have been more rap focused.
Who is Jon Brion?

Jon is a producer who has worked with the likes of Fiona Apple, Kanye West & has also composed many film scores. Jon was shocked when Mac contacted him to work, but he was open to the idea. The two built undeniable chemistry and blessed us with incredible art.
Jon and Mac

Jon’s creative input helped Mac evolve his artistry and gave him confidence to play instruments for songs on Circles. This album can’t even be boxed into one genre. We have elements of funk, synth-pop, hip hop, soft-rock, R&B, yet they all mesh brilliantly.
Angelic Singing

From frat rap in the early 2010’s to beautiful love songs nearly a decade later, Mac grew up in front of our very eyes. On songs like ‘Circles’ & ‘Surf’, his vocal performances are angelic. He hits his notes perfectly & we can feel his emotions oozing out of him.
Ariana's Hidden Vocals

It’s no secret how much Ari meant to Mac; she was a vital figure in his life who seemed to have always wanted the best for him. This alone makes her uncredited vocals on ‘I Can See’ that much more special. Her harmonies added a beautiful layer to the song.
Incredible Tracks

Both Circles & Swimming offer so many vulnerable, yet beautiful moments from Mac. Many fans felt as though Mac was looking for a place of comfort; it seems that Mac found it here. Memorable tracks include ‘Good News’, ‘I Can See’, ‘That’s On Me’ & ‘Blue World’
Mac’s Estate

Mac’s estate could not have chosen a better rollout to go with for this album. They announced it with a note uploaded to Mac's social media on January 8th where they explained the “Swimming in Circles” concept and said how Mac wanted his fans to have this music.
What Could Have Been

Mac continuously kept progressing as an artist and person. He had been through lots of highs and lows in his life, but one thing stayed constant; his ability to create timeless music. As a huge Mac fan myself, I’m blessed to have witnessed his great artistry
