Over the past few days, there's been a lot of talk about content policing, coping mechanisms and 'fiction is fiction' narratives, but it seems like nobody on this website ACTUALLY knows what they are talking about, so let me give you a rundown.
First, I want to preface that this is not meant to be an "exposé" or a harassment thread or whatever excuse you want to use to dismiss my points. This is coming from a place of genuine concern and I'm appalled how many people are defending content they haven't even seen.
I don't want to stay silent on such a prevalent issue in the writing community.

Yes, darkfic has been around forever and will be around forever. Yes, people may write darkfic to cope with their trauma. I know that. I understand that. I respect that.

However, I fail to see how writing actual CP and posting it online for ANYONE to read can be passed simply as a 'coping mechanism'. How is letting potential pedophiles commission CP fic is a 'coping mechanism'.

This goes beyond 'tag accurately'.

The first person I'm gonna talk about is yooniesslut. At the moment he has 25 fics on their AO3, 20 of which range from underage to extremely underage, with characters as young as 6 being raped by their parent/relative. Some examples include:

As you can notice from the screenshots, all of his works are dedicated to a few people. Who are they?

His commissioners.

And that's where the question starts. Is it really 'coping' if someone is PAYING you to write about children getting raped?
tw // pedophilia rape cp incest

Mind you, he did not start his AO3 account writing extremely underage children being molested. His first few fics were actually quite 'tame' in comparison; even though there was non-con/dub-con here and there, his first 5 fics weren't CP at all.

He is always promoting his commissions when replying to his readers as well as on his AO3/Twitter profile. And what do people commission him the most often about? That's right: pedophilia fic.

I fail to see how writing CP for money is 'coping'.
Not to mention the obvious: none of his works are AO3-locked, meaning that everyone, guests and users, can access and read his work.

But that's not the worst of it yet.

He has also made extremely inappropriate sexual comments under OTHER authors' pedophilia fanfics, which is very far from coping as well, in my opinion.

The comment below is under a fic by namjoonsdic (Twitter), which we will talk about soon.

He has also bookmarked another extremely underage fic by minscunnie (which will be covered later) with a comment saying that it made him 'cum so fast' he couldn't even finish reading.
tw // pedophilia cp rape incest

Or, even, replying to a reader saying that his works are a result of him being 'horny and pent up' and that he needs an outlet for all of his 'fantasies'.

Which apparently include children under 10 years old being molested. Got it.

Based on his AO3 profile, his main commissioners as of late seem to be namjoonsdic (who also happens to be yooniesslut's partner), bunspaws and yoonshands, all of which have commissioned the incest and pedophilia fics.
tw // pedophilia rape

One last thing about yooniesslut — it's really disturbing to me how he constantly used the tag 'consensual underage sex'. Minors, ESPECIALLY children under 10 years old, can NOT consent. There's a reason why age of consent laws exist.
tw // pedophilia cp rape incest

Now moving on to namjoonsdic. The content they write is in the same vein as yooniesslut: extremely underage, incest, rape, the lot. They do give out additional warnings in the description, which is good but also terribly alarming.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

They do not monitor who is reading these stories. They don't know if everyone reading it is an actual survivor or just a pervert getting off to CP. Hell, WE don't know if all the people writing these stories are even survivors in the first place.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

Which is where I fail to see the coping mechanism in this all. In taking commissions for pedophilia fics. In writing sexualized, jerk-off fics of children being raped. In publicizing them online for anyone to read, survivor or pedophile.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

There's a way to write everything. There's a way to write about trauma and issues in a way that does not sexualize or glamorize the issue itself, in a way that's not meant to be a story for someone to get off to (e.g. Nabokov's Lolita).
tw // pedophilia cp rape

This is NOT how THESE stories are written. I have barely skimmed through a few because it was genuinely sickening to read the 'baby' language they use, the way they portray the rape itself; like it's justified. Like it's normal.
tw // pedophilia cp rape incest

Finally, I want to touch on bunspaws and minscunnie, both of which write the same content as the rest of this thread talks about. They don't have as much works posted yet, but bunspaws has commissioned yooniesslut on more than one occasion.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

In conclusion, I just want to say that I have nothing against actual survivors that find writing helpful. That is not my issue here.

My issue is people profiting off of this content. My issue is this content being widely accessible.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

My issue is creators of this content publicly saying how he's getting off to it.

My issue is, first and foremost, everyone else batting an eye to it because in their mind, darkfic = coping mechanism.

But it's not always the case.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

If you're a survivor and writing helps you cope, do it in private. Write it by hand and burn it.

Don't post it on AO3 for everyone to read and jerk off to it.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

Writing about children being molested is not an 'extreme kink'. It's not 'kinkshaming' or 'policing' to call it out. It will never, NEVER compare to any other 'extreme kink' by a mile. And I have the right to doubt people who write it.
And to everyone that's been so vehemently defending this 'coping mechanism' narrative without actually looking up just WHAT or WHO they are defending: stop speaking about things you can't even do basic research on.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

An addendum on yooniesslut: he has recently made a very questionable comment about the content he writes, such as how he 'didn't think' an 8-year-old being molested warranted the rape/non-con warning until someone pointed it out. Fic added for context.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

There're also some incredibly unsettling comments from potential predators saying how hot it is because it's 'forbidden' and how grateful they are to 'explore their new inner kink and guilty pleasure'. Both yooniesslut and namjoonsdic seem to welcome it.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

As well as yooniesslut replying to the same reader saying how he got 'hard' writing the first scene and a reader saying they find it 'kinda hot' that he's aroused by CP.

But sure, continue to defend these people, they're just 'coping'. Fic for context.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

And then we have this tweet from yooniesslut saying how he clearly doesn't care about commissions and is willing to write anything as long as he gets paid. Again, I fail to see how this is still about 'coping' when they profit off writing CP.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

And finally, the icing on the cake: yooniesslut stating that holding him accountable for his content is BAD and saying that he shouldn't post CP is, somehow, media censorship and that he can't be responsible for what people do with his fics. Got it.
tw // pedophilia cp rape

An addendum on namjoonsdic: they have been seen interacting with a 14-year-old MINOR that has read their fic about a 5-year-old being molested. Screenshot of the fic added for context.
