Zinchenko betters Mendy in everything apart from blocks and dribbled past. It's striking that Zinchenko who's just 5"8' wins more aerial duels than.Zinchenko is much better than Mendy defensively,it corresponds to the eye test as well as Mendy is so sluggish while Zina works hard
The attacking stats is a mixed bag as Zinchenko has averages more goal creating action and shot creating actions per 90 even tho Mendy has higher xA,Key passes and crosses per 90. But I'll say Mendy is better due to his xA/90 and crosses/90.
Passing:
Zinchenko has a passing accuracy of 90% while Mendy has 84% . Zinchenko averages 8.88 passes per 90 to the final third while Mendy only averages 4.22 in the same department.Hence I'd say Zinchenko is the better passer among the two.

Work rate: Zinchenko averages more pressures/90 as we have seen in the defensive stats.Zinchenko runs more with the ball than Mendy as progressive distance/90 of Zinchenko is 173.2 yards while Mendy's is 156.3 yards.
Work rate: Also another staggering stat is that Zinchenko despite having a height of 5"8' wins almost twice the aerial duels(1.82) than a 6" Mendy wins(1.00) in a match. Judging by the stats Zinchenko's work rate is way higher than Mendy's.
Conclusion: Zinchenko is statistically much better than Mendy in all departments except attacking stats but even then his attacking stats are not too far out from Mendy's. Zinchenko doesn't have off the field issues like Mendy, he's a person who emanates positive vibes.
