i’m not even a ben schwartz stan but let me get in my 2 cents:
if ur saying that ppl holding ben accountable just “causes drama” that rlly diminishes the severity of the situation. while he may not be in control of his role in the movie, his role is still racist and 1/

the movie is still ableist. and, just bc he isn’t in control of that doesn’t suddenly remove him of all accountability. it’s good that he isn’t promoting it, that may be the most he can do right now, but it’s necessary to expect more out of him than this at the end of it all. 2/2

also to anyone who’s defending him, he’s literally a 40 year old man with a team of publicists. u don’t need to do their work for them. accept that this was shitty and move on. you know you can consume content critically, right?
