Food for thought.

The more I think about the events of the 6th, and how brazenly open everyone was regarding their involvement, the more this looks to have been very carefully planned. Honestly, if you really think about it, the only reason it failed was one quick thinking 1/
cop and a group of insurrection it's to blinded by rage to realize they were being lead away. If their had been a different officer there, or if even one person in the crowd had been smart enough to go to the right instead of following, they very well may have succeeded in 2/
their goal.

That's scary to think about, especially in the context of learning from mistakes, they will not likely make that same mistake again, they will likely be more organized the next time.

When you look at the posts on social media, the live streams, the comments 3/
made at the rally earlier, the comments and actions by Cruz and Hawley, the posts by Boebert, this was obviously planned out well in advance, and was meant to succeed. Everyone on the right side of this would have been captured or worse. These people felt they were going to 4/
be successful and so they didn't care about what they were posting. Most of them made half-baked attempts at explaining away their earlier comments, but here is where my concern comes in.

They are only making half-assed attempts to explain themselves, which makes me think 5/
they feel they will be successful the next time. Even the ones that have been arrested don't seem all that concerned.

I'm glad that there is going to be such a national guard presence at the inauguration, but we need to be suspending people on the inside that are probable 6/
enablers until investigations can be completed. There was obviously inside help, and we need to eliminate the chances that better intell can be shared the next time. If they are really on the right side of this, they should be OK with taking some time away while their names 7/
are cleared, and they honestly shouldn't be surprised given the nature of their past behavior. My 2 cents. 8
