you know I understand a lot of fan's frustration with the DC films because lets face it, we were off to a very rough start. I think we should be really honest about how this whole thing started and look at where we ended up. we can point fingers as to who we should place the
to and the truth is everybody is to blame. they gave the keys to a director that they knew from the beginning they didn't fully trust and let him do his thing by creating the universe. @iDJWeddings said something on his recently podcast that I had thought about a year after BVS
came out and that is why didn't somebody ask questions about the script or certain things before putting it on screen. Understanding that WB is a directors driven studio, but we are talking about comic book films here. when it comes to comic book movies in general, there's always
going to be studio interference. we look at Studio interference often as a bad thing, but sometimes can be a good thing. WW84 is one of those examples of that they should ask questions about certain things before finalizing a script, scene or even action scenes. @iDJWeddings is
absolutely right, the studio needed somebody to sit down with directors and go over certain things that they have questions with and need more explanations to. And I do wish they had done the same thing for Snyder. often times we tend to make excuses as to why directors do things
they do for movies they are working on. If an action scene doesn't look good, question them why they made the action scenes they way they did and give feedback. Maybe they need a kevin feige, but somebody that understands scripts etc just to make their vision be presented better
on screen. I believe WB can do better, but it's going to take a while for things to get better due to what's going on right now. I believe a shared universe can work, the issue is that the way Snyder started the universe, it seems as if it was design for 5 films, meaning self-
contained that won't allow for more stories to tell beyond 5 films. Affleck's Batman wasn't going to be around for long, so how gonna continue a universe without a Batman??
