1/ So now that I’ve thought about it, ban on players training seems odd.
They were going to be allowed to train 5 hrs a day. Those on the planes with positive test are now being told they can’t.
Sure, they might’ve been exposed on the flight, esp those seated close.

2/ ALL of the #ausopen people flying in have been potentially exposed, given most coming from high risk places. There’s every likelihood more will test + as they incubate. And so I suppose then players on flights with those people also get banned from training.
3/ They’ve all been potentially exposed, & should all be treated as if they’ve got Covid for 14 day period. And that’s true whether someone on their plane has tested + or not.
The training allowances must have been set up to be super Covid safe. If not, that’s super scandalous.

4/ if all supposition above is correct, I can’tsee why players on the Covid positive flights are being treated differently to the rest.
I might add a caveat for any who were in very close proximity. But even in Australia we don’t deem all on planes w/ a + to be “close contacts”
