Muslim Twitter triggers me so much, and I have made conscious effort to never be involved in their rubbish. I only included that part in my thread, because, like I said, it's much harder for Muslim women, for the reason that their not praying or fasting makes it more apparent

that they are on their periods, which translates to more "shame" to them. I said what society makes women believe pertaining to periods and I also stated what society(older Muslim women, precisely) made me believe as a Muslim woman, which I have now unlearned.

But y'all want to attack. Ija wa, ija osi, always fighting. The Islam you're carrying so much in your head, is that what it taught you? And don't even get me started on some men(Muslim men inclusive) that abandon and treat their wives like shit while on their periods.
