Can we talk about this whole Thing where people get upset when a character from a minority group is portrayed as a villain or something? I see a lot of posts talking about how this show or that show is ableist/lgbtmisic etc because of how their minority character is portrayed-
and it just... it doesn't work like that. Recently I've been getting this vibe that minority characters can do no wrong or be portrayed in a negative light at all in media. The example I saw most recently was how the only nonbinary character in She-Ra is Double Trouble, which-
could be an entire thread on its own. It's not about how one single minority character is portrayed- it's if either that's the only minority character, or all of them are portrayed that way. Please for the love of god, let minority characters be villains and generally bad people.
That isn't inherently discrimination. ☘️
