I saw Tandav. It is politically biased. That is fine. There is also the usual hypocrisy and various tropes around selective victimhood.

But I would not call it anti-Hindu per se, and in any case I would *not* want it banned.

Revenge is best served cold. Not by harming yourself.
While the artistic quality of Tandav in my humble amateur opinion is not as good as say Scam 1992, it is still an improvement over say most Indian movies. Something to think though. Even Hansal Mehta seems to be anti-BJP. Maybe that’s just artists globally being “leftist”. Maybe.
I believe if you are looking for victimhood you find it. Some will focus on just one scene which disrespects Hindu gods, others will find it in the fact that a Muslim girl is shown to be in a relationship with not one but two Hindu men, others will focus on caste/region and so on
The same series, at least in this season, shows a leftist winning university elections by starting his own party called Tandav with the Trishul as symbol and his name being Shiva. That seems quite positive to me. Maybe people are worried about the actor’s real life politics more!
