Before you read the Word, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the meaning of the Word and help you to better understand it. Bc even the enemy knows the Bible and trust me he will flip it to suit his agenda. It isn’t enough to just get wisdom, get understanding.
Knowing the Word is different from understanding the Word. The Bible isn’t literature that you can just read, to understand the spiritual book you have to be in and of the same spirit when delving into it.
The church has been battling this for centuries, preaching the Word without giving proper understanding. Which has now turned the “popular” gospel into something like a work-based ministry instead of what Jesus intended it to be, a faith-based lifestyle.
What every born-again believer needs to understand is this; you are living in the era AFTER Christ, which means you are no longer a slave to the law which is graceLESS but now a slave to righteousness which is full of MERCY and TRUTH. There is no condemnation in Christ❤️

As a matter of fact, just go and study the book of Romans bc everything I quote will be from there 😭 just ask the Holy Spirit for understanding as you’re reading. I don’t have enough strength or characters to be giving spiritual ginger on this app. But deffo DM me if need be💕
