If you get an ad for something you really want on Etsy, please go through the site/app and manually search for it if you wanna buy it! If you buy it from the ad, Etsy takes more of a cut of that sale and the seller has no control over it 💜
I get it. Etsy pays for the ad, so they take an additional cut to make up for the ad placement. But since they already take a cut from sales, the ads are just as much in Etsy’s best interest. I’d just rather give more of the money to the seller!
